From the moment Ashe bounded barefoot onto the stage, the crowd clad in red and white gingham buzzed with energy. The Californian singer-songwriter performed at Saint Andrew’s Hall in Detroit Friday, June 6 to a sold-out venue as part of the first leg of her “The Trilogy Tour.”
Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Bo Staloch opened for Ashe, bringing his new release “Angelina” to the stage. The crowd was absolutely delighted when Staloch took his own twist to the Harry Styles hit, “Kiwi,” erupting in cheers as he played the first few notes of the song.

When Ashe finally took to the backlit stage to open with “Please Don’t Fall in Love With Me” — from her newest album, Willson — fans were still teeming with energy, giving the venue an electric yet whimsical atmosphere.
